Chitika offers two payment options: PayPal payments and payments by Check. Your account needs to accumulate the minimum amount of $10.00 for PayPal and $50.00 for checks before a payment is sent. Payments are processed on a 'net 30' schedule. This means, if you sign up on January 9th and accumulate a minimum of $10.00 by January 30th, you will receive your payment at the end of February (if the balance has cleared the minimum payment amount). Check payments are sent on the same 'net 30' schedule where you will receive payments for a month's revenue 30 days after the end of that month.

I received a PayPal notification in my email but I do not have a PayPal account.

If you have received a PayPal notification, this is because you did not sign up to receive a check payment instead of PayPal (PayPal is our default payment method). Login and update your profile by clicking on the 'Account' tab and select 'Payment Settings'. Your balance will be included in your next check.



I was unable to receive my PayPal payment - where does it go? Can you re-send it to me?

The PayPal payment will "bounce back" to us automatically and that amount will be included in your next payment at the end of the next month.

How long before the end of the month do I have to update my profile before my payment is already processed?

You can update your profile at any time. But if you need to make changes for the current cycle, be sure to update this information before the 28th of the month.

Bitdefender Study Shows: Kids Watch Porn Online as Early as Age 6

Kids start watching porn online from as early as the age of 6, and flirting on the Internet from the age of 8, according to a Bitdefender marketing study of over 19,000 parents worldwide.

The antivirus company’s marketing research shows the age of kids accessing instant messaging and computer games is decreasing. Some 3.45% of children chatting with IM friends and 2 percent of computer game addicts are five years old.

Bitdefender also reveals some children lie about their age when creating social network profiles, especially on Facebook, where they must be at least 13 to sign up. Almost a quarter of the kids in the study had at least one social network account at age 12, while 17 per cent were social media users at 10.

“Kids nowadays are acting like young adults online – just give them an Internet-connected device and they will find a way to things parents would like to ban forever,” Bitdefender Chief Security Strategist Catalin Cosoi said. “Knowing that online dangers go beyond pornography, to hacking and suicide websites may help parents protect their kids’ life on- and offline.”

Bitdefender research also discovered teenagers leave instant messaging to the younger kids, as they prefer to access popular “hate” websites that allow children to post violent or racist messages. These websites also include content that discriminates on the basis of religion or sex, and some belong to terrorist organizations.

Over 17 per cent of all children accessing “hate” websites are 14 years old, followed by 15 year-olds (16.52%) and 16 year-olds (12.05%).

Parents participating in the marketing study originate mostly from the US, France, Germany, the UK, Australia, Spain and Romania. Bitdefender also compared the results with data from parental control software. Here are the Top Web Categories that Most Interest Kids (and that parents block):

How can i add Quick Edit Pencil to Blogger Posts?

The "Quick Edit" pencil icon provides a link to edit our blog posts while viewing blog pages in our browser.This function is always present in Blogger's default templates. However, if you have customized your template or are using a non-standard template, you may notice this function is missing from your blog pages.

In this quick tutorial, I'll explain how you can check if the "Quick Edit" function is present in your blog template, and how this can be restored if you find it's missing.

Check the quick edit settings The first thing we should do is check that the quick editing is activated in your blog's settings. To check this, go to Settings>Basic in your Blogger dashboard and scroll down to the section which says "Show quick editing on your blog".




You should ensure this option is set to "yes" and save this setting.

Then go to Layout>Page Elements in your Blogger dashboard, and click on the "edit" link for the Blog Posts widget.

On this pop-up page, you should ensure you have checked the "Show quick editing" option which enables you to quickly edit your blog posts.








Check if the required code is present in the template
Next we need to check if the code required to make these icons appear is still present in your template.

To find out, go to Layout&Edit HTML in your Blogger dashboard. Check the "Expand widget templates" box, then search for this section of code:

If this section of code is not present in your template, you will need to copy the entire b:includable section above, then paste this just before the following line of code in your template:

Once you are sure that this code is present in your template, you need to add a simple line of code to the posts section where you would like your quick edit icon to appear:

In this template, my quick edit icon is located in the "post-footer" section, like this:

If the "post-footer-line" section is not present in your own Blogger template, you may prefer to add the quickedit code just after this line instead:

Once you have added this line of code, preview your template. The quickedit icons will not appear in the preview, but if you have made any errors during these changes, the preview will make you aware of this.

Finally, you can proceed to saving your template. Then view your blog in your browser. Your quick edit icons should now appear below each of your blog posts which allows you to easily edit posts when you are logged in to your Blogger account.
