Cupertino, California - Apple recently introduced the latest of its MacBook Air laptop line, simultaneously providing a sneak peek at the evolution of the Mac operating system. Other highlights included a new version of the multimedia software packet iLife.

The updated MacBook Air will, in the future, be sold with 11.6 and 13.3-inch displays. According to Apple, neither will employ what have, until now, been standard hard drives with rotating magnetic plates. Instead, data on these laptops will be transcribed onto solid state discs (SSD).

İlk önce Masaüstü ve dizüstü ayrımını yapmak daha sağlıklı olacaktır. Burada kişisel durum önemli. Masaüstü bilgisayar her zaman daha kullanışlı ve rahat olmuştur. Hız açısından da dizüstüne göre avantajı bulunuyor. Ayrıca masaüstü bilgisayarı upgrade yani belli parçalarını zaman içinde değiştirerek bilgisayarı tamamen değiştirmeden güncel hızlara ulaştırabilirsizniz. Şimdi bu kadar masaüstünü övdün diyeceksiniz ancak dezavantajlarınıda belirtelim. En önemli dezavantajı mobilite yani sadece sabit kullanabilmeniz. Bir çoğumuz için önemli değil belki ama benim gibi doğasever birisi için önemli olan enerji sarfiyatının diz üstüne göre fazla olduğunu söylemeden geçemem.

Günüzmüzde dizüstü bilgisayarlar masaüstü bilgisayar hızlarına yaklaştı. Ancak grafik ile uğraşılacak ise ya da oyun oynamaya yönelik kullanılcaksa dizüstü bilgisayarlar zorlanabiliyor. En çok karşılaşılan yüksek performans gösteren uygulamalarda ısınma problemidir. Önemli bir dezavantajı ise bir süre sonra güncel parçalar alıp takarak değiştirme masrafından kurtulma şansımız masaüstü kadar yoktur.
